I'm part of the SALON exhibition
The paintings in the salon exhibition are from the Birds That Don't Sing series. The more I dealt with this topic and thought about the meaning of the words "artist artists wolf" the more I identified with this issue that Cena has been dealing with in recent years Jindřich Chalupecký, when instead of awarding one winner, a group of awarded laureates is chosen of this price. I quote - "In our eyes, the Jindřich Chalupecký Award is not a trophy for a single laureate or laureate, the only imaginary winner, but a joint award of a varied mix of artists and their different artistic starting points, the comparison of which is pointless. My work then developed with this idea, and words like - competition, racing, competition, but unfortunately in the context of artistic creation, in which these words and concepts would they shouldn't have belonged at all. I still held on to the symbol of the bird - the magpie, depicting the unique artist and individual who thinks so flies across the open field of art. I liked the contrasting depiction of man, artist and animal which he mostly acts only on his instincts and maybe only his survival instincts. The contrast of when the animal should resist its instinct and start fighting against its group, which would have the opposite of it create support. That's how I got to the Flock topic. A flock of birds as well as a flock of artists. The other side of the matter, which was important for me to show, was the sameness of us artists.
